I work with individuals and couples between the ages of 18 and 65 via telehealth. I take an inclusive and affirming approach with people across sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and cultural backgrounds. Nothing about who you are or how you love is a deterrent here. You don’t need to filter your language, desires, or complexity.
Areas of focus
-
Recurring conflict, difficulty expressing needs, guilt around saying no, or navigating shifting roles in family and partnerships. This often includes work around intimacy, sexuality, and relational expectations.
-
Competent and capable outwardly – often in helping or high-responsibility professions – yet unsettled or dissatisfied, where insight doesn’t always translate into meaningful change.
-
Persistent worry, self-criticism, or racing thoughts, even when life looks fine on the surface – common among driven professionals and caregivers.
-
Balancing personal values with family or cultural expectations, including experiences common to AAPI individuals navigating intergenerational and bicultural tension.
-
Adjusting to changes in work, family, or identity – parenthood, partnership, evolving priorities, or the unique pressures faced by those who are used to being the helper.
